Gelert Scenic Monocular 8 X 21 Magnification
from the gelert range of outdoor instruments the scenic monocular - offering 8 x 21 magnification without the bulk of binoculars to carry. the scenic makes use of the advances in technology & uses the roof prism method, that means the image is directly viewed behind the observing lens, & the image is played as seen rather than upside down. this technology is fairly close in standards of vision to the porro method standard prism . the blue lens offer a clear & sharp image & are multi-coated for sharp focus. the rubber eyecubs are collapsible, ideal if you wear glasses & the monocular comes with a carry case & lanyard. though this instrument is ultra compact & very light, it still performs incredibly well & offers better results than some full sized binos of the same magnification. at such a low price, this great little instrument is a must for the pocket on that day out. your friends will want to use it too though
